The Save Our Community Youth Program

Founder/Rapper Rich P
As a single parent, or parent in general so many of us work countless hours to provide a roof over our children’s head. We break the bank to put food in their mouths and clothes on their backs. The phrase there isn’t enough hours in the day comes true everyday when we get home and the kids need help with homework, want to discuss the school gossip, bullies, peer pressure etc... They want to know what’s for dinner and all you want to do is sit down and get a second to breathe! Well The Fallen Fathers Foundation has once again created a resolution. The Save Our Community Youth Program provides all those resources in one location.

The Lawton Street Community Center. Kids grades K-12 in the program will get to learn the ins and outs of many other art forms! Music, art, modeling, photography, studio engineering, cooking etc.. The doors will be open to come get help with homework, an outlet where kids can discuss their issues with other peers as well as adult mentors. And if nothing else, just a get away for them to come shoot some hoops and hang out Monday through Thursday from 4pm - 7pm. All we ask of the student is that he/she agree to maintain a 2.5 GPA! And for that the Fallen Fathers Foundation will reward the students each grading period w/gift cards, outings, and things of that nature. This is an incentive based program for the youth in the urban community! And it’s all FREE! So parents contact myself, or Davieda Id’Deen to sign your child up!

Beginning March 1st I’ll be doing sign ups Every Saturday this month at Lawton St Community Center so contact Timothy Anderson Jr for available sign up times. Don't forget to check out my interview/conversation with AkronHipHop.com
